How we started
One day during my senior year of high school, I walked through the door, freshly accepted into my top college choice, SMU. As soon as I stepped inside, I was hit with an overwhelming wave of excitement. The house had been completely transformed—decorated in the school's colors. There were snacks laid out, clothing with the SMU logo, balloons floating in the air, cozy blankets adorned with the university’s emblem, and flags proudly displaying the school’s name.
As I looked around, I began to realize just how much effort my mom had put into pulling all of this together. She had spent countless hours scouring different websites, searching for the perfect SMU gear, the right snacks, and the most thoughtful little extras to make the celebration unforgettable. Each purchase came with its own set of challenges: navigating multiple websites, paying numerous shipping fees, and dealing with endless packages arriving at different times. The result was a pile of unorganized boxes scattered throughout the house. Everything felt disconnected, and in that moment, it hit me—there had to be a better way to streamline this process for families.

That’s when the idea of creating an all-in-one college bundle was born. I shared this idea with my best friend from high school. Over the years, we had tried to start many businesses, failing time and time again, but this one felt different. It became clear that this was the one. From partners in our entrepreneurship class to teammates on the soccer field, we knew how to work well together. Combining our strengths, ideas, and entrepreneurial spirits, we joined forces, and Bundlr became a reality.
